Considered to be one of the oldest machine tool practices, turning uses a rotary axis to rotate a workpiece or material while a rigid cutting tool traverses along 1, 2, or even 3 axes of motion to remove material producing precise geometries. While most of our round parts are produced on our highly accurate CNC lathes, some larger parts still require using one of our manually controlled lathes allowing us to provide parts from just a few millimeters in diameter up to 12" diameter rollers with lengths exceeding 19 feet!
